7/7/2008 5:33:12 PM 1 0 In Store: Low expectations from years of being snubbed by undertrained, underdressed and unhelpful sales staff, but today was the worst! I work in retale, so asked an unoccupied associate if I could check out at an apparently open register. Foolish assumption, my asking for help was deemed "unfair" to all of the others already waiting in line for the one working clerk. Asked them to open other register, called someone to potentially do it, but went back to chatting, so I left my huge pile-o-merch and walked out, never again to return. If this had happened in my store,(Crate & Barrel) we would all have been ashamed and retrained.
