8/22/2018 5:10:05 PM 1 2 No I purchased a tv for my daughter for college. I bought it early (end of May I think ). This past weekend I moved her in on August **th. When we unpacked the tv and plugged it in we noticed that the screen was badly cracked. I brought the tv back with me to Metairie Louisiana from Natichotiches Louisiana where my daughter was attending college. When I got to the store I was directed to customer service and they verified the screen was damaged. The remote was still in the factory wrapping so it was obvious that it had not been used. The store manager was called over to see if she could help. I was informed that the warranty did not cover broken screens on the tv. But they did refund the warranty. We went and looked for a new tv. We were not happy that we spent $*** for a tv that could not be used but were willing to buy a new tv for my daughter. As we were looking we over heard the store mgr loudly telling a group of employees that we were obviously lying about the tv and to watch us! As she saw us watching her she looked our way an laughed. I was very angry and thought about approaching her but instead we left without buying another tv.
